Thesis Pre-Production
Story Boards
Style Frames
Beat Boards
I am currently involved in the pre-production of my senior thesis for next year in which I am developing storyboards, style frames and nailing down the concept for the thesis project. Although I will most likely continue on with a different idea, this is the concept work for my first crack at it, including beat boards, style frames and storyboards. The concept is a retake of the well known poem "A Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe, a story riddled with the idea of appearance vs. reality. I realized that there rarely lies complete truth behind the stories and interactions we share on a daily basis. We are a society concerned with the superficial, the exterior, the reality of things as portrayed by others. We accept what is given to us over delving deeper to reveal what is beyond our own perspective. This story reflects the theme perfectly, in which the main character's reality is completely different from that which he portrays to the world.
Peace One Day Storyboards
A continuation of the last post, these are the my storyboards for my POD animation. The final idea for the piece is a military aircraft showering a city with bombs in which trees explode out of the ground rather than fire balls. The point is challenging the idea of war, bringing forth a day of peace in which life flourishes, represented by the plush green trees and grass that sprout upon impact of the bombs.

Once Upon a Dorito
This was a school project done for the Doritos "Crash the Superbowl" competition. This was a group project in which I animated the deer and shot the video. I was also involved in compositing the elements together and color correction.

ART Network Package
Continuing our study of television production, this is the open for a network branding assignment for the All Ringling Television network on Ringling Cable channel 117. The basic idea here is the creation of something from nothing, the planting of a seed from which all creativity sprouts. This piece was done for the Ringling television channel who's audience consists almost entirely of artists, so I felt this idea would be something that could connect to everyone.
